How much is the derelict sites levy in Dublin?

The derelict sites levy is 7% of a registered site's market value, every year. The four councils' registers list 214 sites; 45 show a market value, €16 million together, which at 7% is €1.1 million a year (as of 25 Sep 2026). Budget 2026 announced a Derelict Property Tax run by Revenue; it is not yet law.
