What this means for a buyer

The Land Development Agency keeps a register of land held by public bodies under the Land Development Agency Act 2021, as part of finding State land for housing. Being on the register does not mean a site is surplus or for sale. When a council does sell, it has to give its members notice first, which shows up on the council land for sale list; other State bodies sell through their own processes.
