About Adamstown

Adamstown is a strategic development zone in South Dublin, west of Clonburris and older than it, built around Adamstown station on the Kildare line. South Dublin granted 385 more homes there in December 2023 (SDZ23A/0004).

As in every SDZ, the council decides an application on whether it is consistent with the planning scheme, and that decision cannot be appealed (section 170(3) of the 2000 Act).
